The purpose of the system is to have elctronic records to enhance and backup our physical records.
The data we collect is; Names and locations of those buried. Who purchases what lots. A burial permit. Names (if any) of who is allowed to be buried in what lots.

Our meetings
1. Allmeetings conducted by the Board of Trustees will be conducted within the guidelines of "Roberts Rules" and in strict compliance with the "Brown Act".
a. Regular Meeting - Regular meetings of the Upper Lake Cemetery District will be conducted on the 3rd Monday of the months of July, September, November, January, March, and May. Notice of the meeting's date, time, and agenda items will be posted in a spot "freely accessible to the public" and on this website, at least 72 hoursprior to the meeting.
b. Special Meeting - A special meeting may be called by the Board's President or by a majority of the Board of Trustees, at any time in order to conduct neccessary District business. Such meetin's notice will be posted at least 24 hours in advance and such notice shall include, date, time, place, and agenda of the special meeting. No business other than that on the agenda shall be conducted during a special meeting. c. Closed Session - A closed session may be called by the Board of Trustees during a regular or special meeting. The reason for the closed session must be made public before closing the regular or special meeting, and such closed session will be conducted within the strict guidelines of the "Brown Act". d. The public is invited and encouraged to participate in any regular or special meeting but will not be allowed to participate in a closed session. |
